A complete set of six circa-1970s dining chairs attributed to Mastercraft, comprising two armchairs and four side chairs. Tall, sculptural silhouettes frame richly figured burl-wood surfaces, brass-tone detailing, and olive-green upholstery, creating a distinctive and cohesive dining ensemble.
Each chair features a high upholstered back and cushioned seat set within a dark-finished frame. Brass-tone inlay follows the architectural contours of the legs, seat rails, and back supports, while the enclosed backs display richly figured burl-wood panels bordered with coordinating metallic detailing. The two armchairs include upholstered arm pads and exposed wood handholds.
The chairs have been reupholstered, and the wood finish has been refreshed. No maker’s label is presently available; attribution to Mastercraft is based on the set’s design, materials, construction, and close correspondence with documented comparable examples.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The chairs have been reupholstered, and the wood finish has been refreshed. The frames retain scattered scuffs, small nicks, edge wear, and wear at the arm ends and feet. The brass-tone inlay shows patination and surface wear. The upholstery displays natural directional shading, light compression, and minor marks consistent with use.
