A striking set of four Christopher Guy Le Jardin dining chairs, each distinguished by a sculptural lower back of carved flowers rising along graceful, branching stems. Inspired by the Fleur de Camélia and its association with Coco Chanel, the design gives the chairs an unmistakable presence balancing sculptural presence with everyday livability.

Carved from mahogany and upholstered in rich red velvet, the chairs combine Art Nouveau-inspired botanical forms with a contemporary sense of scale and restraint. The dark brown frames feature gently curved cabriole-style front legs and Christopher Guy's signature crossed rear legs. Each floral back is individually composed, allowing the four complementary designs to read as a coordinated collection rather than four identical chairs.

The underside label identifies Christopher Guy / Style Forum Inc., credits the design to Christopher Guy Harrison, and states that the chair was manufactured at the CG H&G facilities in Semarang, Java, Indonesia.

Condition

The set presents in very good pre-owned condition. The dark brown mahogany frames and red velvet upholstery present very well overall. Minor cosmetic touch-ups were made to the wood to address small surface imperfections, with light wear consistent with age and prior use.
