A petite sculptural console table presented as circa 1960s, distinguished by a polished cream-white marble surface, softly rounded top, substantial plinth base, and two opposing curved supports. The open, symmetrical silhouette gives the stone a lighter visual presence, while natural veining brings warm ivory, pale yellow, and subtle gray variation to the surface.

At 42.5 inches wide, its versatile scale is well suited to an entryway, hallway, or living room. Positioned beneath a mirror or artwork, it creates a composed focal point; styled with a lamp, vessel, or small collection of objects, it offers an elegant display surface. The curved supports are particularly engaging from an angle, rewarding placement where the console can be viewed from more than one direction.

Described as solid white marble, the piece is constructed in sections and can be disassembled into two parts for transportation. A handwritten inscription reading “G. Brunner Original” appears near one corner of the top and is documented in the accompanying photographs.

Condition

Vintage condition with age-related cracking visible in the clear resin coating on the top. According to the current inventory assessment, the cracking appears confined to the clear resin coating rather than the marble itself. Natural veining, tonal variation, and subtle surface characteristics are inherent to the stone.
